"A gripping listen"
So, I already own the paperback and have recently purchased The Hunger Games on audiobook, so the next step would be to acquire this one, the second in the trilogy. A great Narrator makes this a much more enjoyable listen than some I've come across. We have listened to it a few times now and think it will become a great addition to our audio library.
"Green Rider... action and adventure"
Green Rider has been a long time favorite book of mine, Karrigan tries to return home after a disagreement with the headmaster at school. Everything seems fine until a rider emerges from the forest with two black arrows in his back and she finds herself agreeing to help the dying man. Following a path only the horse seems to know Karrigan is off on an adventure.
Ellen Archer does a great job of narrating this book. Would love to see the rest of these books on audible.
Even my husband, a reluctant fantasy listener enjoyed this book.
"Oh, and hit men, just a few of them too."
I am a big fan of the Dresden Files and have read them all over the years. A few years ago I bought Storm Front in audio format and I was not disappointed, James Marsters is a great narrator. As soon as I got my Audible membership I bought Fool Moon and Grave Peril soon after. It's been a few years and I intermittently check if the rest of the series has become available on audio. Lo and Behold! A few weeks ago I found that they were now all available! I used up the credits I'd stashed for a rainy day and got Summer Knight and Death Masks for listening.
Private detective/wizard-for-hire Harry Dresden is neck deep in the action again, his ex girlfriend has returned, a red court vampire challenges for a duel and the Chicago PD need help in a case involving a headless and handless corpse... Oh, and hit men, just a few of them too.
The greatest thing about audio books is being able to multi task... playing with toddler, washing up, housework [Yuk] and knitting are all things I can do while listening to these great books.
I can't wait for my next credits to arrive and I can get some more Dresden audiobooks!
"Harry Dresden is at it again!"

Private detective/wizard-for-hire Harry Dresden is suckered into tangling in the affairs of Faerie, where the fate of the entire world-and his soul-are at stake, again.
The greatest thing about audio books is being able to multi task... playing with toddler, washing up, housework [Yuk] and knitting are all things I can do while listening to these great books.
"A gripping listen"
So, I already own the paperback and have recently purchased The Hunger Games and Catching Fire on audiobook, so the next step would be to acquire this one, the third and final book in the trilogy. A great Narrator makes this a much more enjoyable listen than some I've come across. We have listened to it a few times now and think it will become a great addition to our audio library.
"teen dystopia"
I have recently been taking some chances and buying audiobooks I have not already read as a paperback. This is one of them, I did try the sample and it was an intriguing story that came to me in a short blast. Both the Husband and I have listened to it and found it a good listen.
"gripping listen"
I already own the paperback and recently the Darling Husband got around to reading it and also enjoyed it. We are both fans of audiobooks [him = for long commutes, me = for dull housework] so decided to use our credits on the Hunger Games. A great Narrator makes this a much more enjoyable listen than some I've come across. We have listened to it a few times now and think it will become a great addition to our audio library.
