The Accidental Billionaires is the inspiration behind the Oscar winning film, The Social Network, dramatising Zuckerberg's success and proving you don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies... Eduardo Saverin and Mark Zuckerberg - an awkward maths prodigy and a painfully shy computer genius - were never going to fit in at elite, polished Harvard. Yet that all changed when master-hacker Mark crashed the university's entire computer system by creating a rateable database of female students.

What qualities do you need to become a good leader? Jonathan Perks has had 30 years of leadership experience at all levels, in the British Army and global business. He combines this with wide research and has identified eight qualities that are evident in all successful leaders. The message of hope in this book is that the inspiring leadership qualities that Jonathan describes can be developed by almost anyone. Using the author's compass model, you will be able to identify your own "true north".

One of the best books I have read for a while. I previously thought leadership was something you had or you hadn't. The compass model explains leadership very well and explains how you might learn or teach leadership.

Listen to this book and send your nonverbal intelligence soaring. Joe Navarro, a former FBI counterintelligence officer and a recognized expert on nonverbal behavior, explains how to "speed-read" people: decode sentiments and behaviors, avoid hidden pitfalls, and look for deceptive behaviors. You'll also learn how your body language can influence what your boss, family, friends, and strangers think of you.

I thought this might struggle as an audio book but it does work. There is a lot about the reasons behind body language which enabled the author to clump body language in to bite sized chunks to make it digestable.

  • Carte Blanche: The New James Bond Novel

Fresh from Afghanistan, James Bond has been recruited to a new agency. It operates independent of Five, Six and the MoD, with its very existence deniable. Its aim: to protect the Realm, by any means necessary. The Night Action alert calls Bond from dinner with a beautiful woman. GCHQ has decrypted an electronic whisper about an attack scheduled for later in the week. And 007 has been given carte blanche to do whatever it takes to fulfil his mission.

Clifford says: "A new premium Bond"

Jeffrey Deaver is just the person to write the new bond book. He can intertwine several different facets of a plot and bring them together at the end to a nail biting conclusion. He brought Bond into the 21st century and made him believable. Great book I hope he writes another.

In this riveting book, Dr. Sanjay Gupta - neurosurgeon, chief medical correspondent for CNN, and best-selling author- chronicles the almost unbelievable science that has made these seemingly miraculous recoveries possible. A bold new breed of doctors has achieved amazing rescues by refusing to accept that any life is irretrievably lost. Extended cardiac arrest, "brain death," not breathing for over an hour-all these conditions used to be considered inevitably fatal, but they no longer are.
