I'm a huge fan of the show and I had several friends recommend the book to me but I really don't have time to read books right now so I decided to get the audiobook. I definitely made the right decision! This book is hilarious and having Miranda herself read it was perfect. I laughed out loud so many times!

Absolutely brilliant!!! I've listened to 4 times now and still laughing out load. Last listened to whilst in hospital and had to keep explaining to patients and nurses what I was laughing at. Recommended to all my family and my niece listens to it on the way to school. Can't wait for another book from Miranda. She reads the story brilliantly and really captures you. You definitely become a MDLC.

This is the first audio book I've tried and I have to say I'm loving it. Miranda's voice is superb. I can picture her in my head telling me her funny and very interesting stories.

Brilliantly funny audio book and well read by Miranda, but also one of the most annoying, Miranda likes to use acronyms like DLF (dear listener friend). She repeats this and many others through out the whole book. Apart from this, I have to say that I have not laughed as much in a long time, so would thoroughly recommend this book.

Miranda Hart reads this in her own unique style. This book is like one you would display on the coffee table and dip into as and when. I particularly enjoyed anecdotes I could easily relate to; that was most of them actually! I can imagine MH reading her book with a beaming smile on her face, as she recollects these humorous events. Her enthusiasm encourages listener to recall own life experiences and I constantly found myself chuckling as I relived similar comedic happenings. A thoroughly good listen, for the observations, even if you are not a MH fan.

... and 'get' Miranda, you'll love this, which is her TV sitcom applied to the blander parts of her life story. Or maybe her TV sitcom uses parts of her life. Whatever, it's very funny, but would have liked some more depth in parts, to find out more about the lady beneath. Was in danger, as a result, of being 'over Miranda'd by the end, but still highly recommended. If you get Miranda, I do, wife doesn't.

This is the first time I have downloaded an audio book and thought I would try Is It Just Me? It is a funny book, only listened to the first three chapters so far but have to admit that I have gone back to reading a different book on my Kindle - it's a good thriller and can't put the book down. Is It Just Me? is the type of book you can put down and pick up again in a few days or weeks. Just not enough to keep me hooked.

I'm sure some people think they don't like Miranda's sitcom on TV - I think I was unsure about it - but that was before I listened to this audiobook. It's incredible. It's hilarious. It's unendingly poignant too - while the funnies never quite put you down, each chapter is still an astonishingly candid examination of the authors own life. Never ever self-pitying, so never appearing vulnerable, Miranda's autobiography is probably the most candid I've ever read in terms of the inner workings of the authors mind and heart. She's beautifully truthful, you'll adore this woman and her writing, she's unbelievably and relentlessly funny, has the lightest of touches, and yet this is not a fluffy or disposable book. Listen to it once a month for the rest of your life.
