This is one of those storys that just grab you and it was difficult to stop listening until the book reached its conclusion. I would recommend it for all ages from 12 upwards, not just older children. As is often the case the book is far better than the film and I would recommend it if you enjoyed the film to get a better understanding of the story.

i read theese books not knowing the style of the auther, the books were recomended to me by my sister, but i was not sure i would like them. once i started to read the books i could not put them down, the story line was fantastic and if i could work out how to do the star rating i would give theese books 5 stars.

I do not really understand when this book is categorized as teen fiction. I think this book is much more mature than that - with meaningful thoughts, internal struggles about choices to be made etc.. And it is also gripping, exciting. I could not stop listening.

The whole story is presented from the main character's point of view which makes the story more realistic and personal to the reader (or listener :). This is not a dumb 'action movie' with untouchable superheroes but a book with ordinary people who have their fears, weaknesses - and strengths.



I am eagerly waiting to have enough time to re-listen the whole trilogy.

Took some time to properly get into it, but once the story started to pick up it was hard to put down. Very emotional and just perfect.

I was recommended to read these three books by a good friend so yes I bought them.After reading the first fifty pages in book one I was captured by the remarkable detail and the writing of Suzanne Collins.It didn't take me long to read all three.I liked them so much I bought the Audio version and that absolutely fantastic.

This is a must listen, the image and story is created so clearly in your mind. And it is such a great story, and it is wonderfully read.

This was just what I wanted from an audiobook, made me look forward to my commute

And the narrator was terrible. She made the whole thing sound so condescending. The story wasn't very original and didn't really go anywhere. None of the characters were memorable or likeable.



Just don't understand the hype...
