  • "Interesting!!! a good read...."

    Overall

I really enjoyed the book and when I heard that last sentence, I wondered if it was leaving a door open for a sequel and immediately checked back here. Now I just have to wait for the rest of the trilogy and hope they are as engaging and entertaining!

  • "Good start to YA series"

    1 of 1 helpful votes

This book is action packed in the sense that two more soul finders are discovered by the Benedicts and one of them is a very rare soul seeker who helps with the strength and love of her soul finder to rescue the soul finders and bring them back to the Benedicts. They may be broken thanks to an old enemy's mother trying to erase their brains, but with the seekers skills, anything is possible and Crystal will do whatever she can to put back what is right.

Joss Stirling has not disappointed with this book as it still has the English anecdotes that make her stories full of humour and an easy, enjoyable read.

It is not clear if there is going to be a fourth book, waiting to hear, but I hope there is as I would love to know whether the remaining three Benedicts do successfully find their soul finders.

Then she takes the seat on the bus next to Park. Quiet, careful and - in Eleanor's eyes - impossibly cool, Park's worked out that flying under the radar is the best way to get by. Slowly, steadily, through late-night conversations and an ever-growing stack of mix tapes, Eleanor and Park fall in love. An utterly gripping thriller from best-selling author Lauren Oliver. Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a poor town of 12,000 people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do. Heather never thought she would compete in panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She'd never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought.

'Little Women' begins the much-loved story of the March sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. The girls grow up amidst the turmoils, adventures and hardships of the American Civil War.There is Meg, the eldest, plump and fair; Jo, the tomboy who longs to be a writer and fights against the constraints of her sex; Beth, shy, timid and delicate, who brings out the protective instinct in others; and Amy, the youngest and brightest and, at least in her own estimation, the most important.

Years before Trip Wiley could be seen on movie screens all over the world, he could be seen sitting in the desk behind me in my high school English class. This was back in 1990, and I cite the year only to avoid dumbfounding you when references to big hair or stretch pants are mentioned. Although, come to think of it, I am from New Jersey, which may serve as explanation enough. We were teenagers then, way back in a time before anyone, himself included, could even dream he'd turn into the Hollywood commodity that he is today.

I'm not scripting my life anymore. I'm living it. I'm done with the God of all Hotties. I'm going to give my heart to the boy who I think deserves it. The boy whose kisses are hotter than molten lava. The boy who offered me the key to his heart. The boy who asked me to Homecoming in a big, sexy way.

Eleanor is the new girl in town, and she's never felt more alone. All mismatched clothes, mad red hair and chaotic home life, she couldn't stick out more if she tried. They fall in love the way you do the first time, when you're 16, and you have nothing and everything to lose.
