OKThis is the first time i have read any of Richard Laymons books and i am so glad i did this is your worst camping trip nightmare, you just don't wanna be there its chilling and you are longing for the characters to get out the woods, its very graphic with alot of sexual encounters, and its very gross in some places i loved it!
Since joining audible,i have been lucky to have picked some dam good books.
My favourites being horror and crime and thrillers.Again this book did not disappoint,it amazes me how they come up with great story lines like this, its a creepy tale set in the heart of woods and lake land in a creepy old house, disturbing in parts and graffic, i loved it well written, well narrated
This book starts off really slow and the narrators deep south accent is a little putting off at first, but has the story unfolds it becomes creepy and scary and very sad,in fact a little disturbing too.
When the story becomes interesting you almost forget about the narrators voice.so if you do find this story slow at first please do not give up on it this is well worth a listen.
