These stories are faitful for the original stories in the Bible. Even the difficult ones have been included but explained in the way that children can understand them correctly (e.g. why some people in old testament times had to lose their life after doing wrong). This is a great tool for refreshing Bible knowledge even for adults. Pleasanty read.
This first Signs of the Times talk explores "Moses as a war criminal" and "cosmic child-abuse atonement". How does religion sanction violence, for whom, and at what spiritual cost?
Christianity is widely thought of as providing a means of understanding the world and our place within it. In contrast, Peter makes the case for Christianity as a radical critique of all systems that would attempt to provide such explanations. He will be defending the counter-intuitive claim that an interpretation which makes sense of our existence is not a Christian interpretation. Arguing that revelation is not a language that describes the world, but rather a 'happening' that changes it.

The 100-Minute Bible is an abridgement of the traditional Bible which has primarily been written for people who are interested in Christian and spiritual matters but who do not have time to read through a whole traditional Bible. Divided into 50 sections it starts with the creation and moves though the history of the Jews in Old Testament times, the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and an outline of issues facing the early Christian church before ending with the Revelation of John.
