About this listen

Kevin Federline: dancer, father, accidental pop culture icon. His star rose electrifying stages alongside Pink, Destiny’s Child, Aaliyah, and more. But it was his turbulent marriage to pop superstar Britney Spears that made him a household name and triggered a relentless media storm, reducing him to a caricature in a world that barely knew him.

Behind the tabloid headlines was a devoted father fighting for his children and his sanity, navigating the fallout of fame and a fractured family, as everything around him spun out of control. From the heights of global stardom to the pain of public ridicule, this memoir peels back the layers of celebrity, fatherhood, and survival to reveal the man behind the mythology.

A man shaped not by spectacle or spotlight, but by love, resilience, and the steadfast resolve to give his kids a normal life. What you thought you knew was only half the story.

He says a lot of negative things about himself which makes me think it is genuine.

Seems like he is being honest

Enjoyed this from Kevin. Appreciate him telling his story. But it lacked depth, it was more like a long interview. I didn't feel immersed. I also feel he glossed over some things. But definitely worth a listen.

Entertaining but lacking depth

Good listen. Great dad and comes across as family-oriented. I like the transparency about money and living in Hollywood. Also brave of him to call Britney out.

humble guy good read

Its a bit of a non story really. If you are hoping to hear a lot of detail about his relationship with Britney Spears you will be disappointed, its mostly about his career. Its hard to like this guy, he repeats over and over about how hes done everything based on his love for his kids, however he left his heavily pregnant girlfriend, the mother of his other kids, for Britney. He speaks like an adolescent child in ghetto speak which is extremely irritating. Not for me l preferred Britneys book, however Kevin doesnt gloss over the whole truth he admits his mistakes and owns up to his faults.

Boring

Honestly I knew Britney was very disturbed but to hear how she treated those who love her ESPECIALLY her kids is absolutely horrific! I feel sorry for all that are involved! I do think Britney was treated somewhat unfairly by the people that made money off of her but the anger she displayed to her family is beyond reasoning! All the fame and attention, drugs and drink flipped a switch in her sadly and she took it out on those around her. I do hope she finds peace because it’s obvious she is still spiralling. Mental illness is no joke! Glad I read this book.

Very gripping! Feel for the guy!
